Kouraku Kiln

Kouraku Kiln is located in Arita, in the southwestern prefecture of Saga. The kiln of over 150 years is always seeking to innovate. The factory produces both traditional and contemporary tableware incorporating old Imari-style techniques.

Artists are often assigned to work on the more contemporary and unique pieces. Visitors at Kouraku Kin can see craftspeople apply traditional and innocation to create top quality Aritayaki porcelain.
