I’m Wu Yu-Jie, a picture book author and illustrator.
For me, creating art is a way to find inner peace and express myself. It is a process of total freedom, where I don’t set boundaries and I gracefully embrace my ever-changing self. This is why I love to describe myself as a cloud—a cloud with thoughts, free-spirited, and gentle.

A few years ago, I created an illustration of "a shop that sells good things." These items were imbued with meaning or filled with stories—warm, powerful, and sincere. My hope is to share that positive energy and those meaningful thoughts with you through these "good things."
